4 Earnings I'm Watching This Week

Today's video focuses on what to watch during upcoming earnings for Intel (NASDAQ:INTC), Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), Snapchat (NYSE:SNAP), and Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX). Here are some highlights from the video.

  1. The week of Oct. 18 is the beginning of big tech earnings. Netflix reports on Tuesday after the market closes, Tesla reports on Wednesday after the market closes, and Snapchat and Intel report on Thursday after the market closes.
  2. On average, analysts expect Intel will not see year-over-year revenue growth. Investors should keep an eye on what timeline and schedule are set for Intel's upcoming products like Alder Lake and should note any updates that management might share about the semiconductor shortage.
  3. Snapchat and Netflix are two companies that were considered "COVID stocks," as lockdown restrictions accelerated growth for both. Investors should keep an eye on what type of growth is expected for the upcoming quarters now that restrictions are easing up.
